. new project: shirt-painting!

Spencer thought these little dots on the floor were beautiful so he asked me to picture them.

We invited daddy to do a collaboration!





We even made a shirt for daddy and it came out beautifully!

Went to the Japanese Garden to attend an origami open-studio.

Last Thursday we attended a workshop at MALBA Museum that was given by three argentine designers. They taught us how to make soup, weave, print and bind books.

. first sleep over

On Thursday night Spencer had his firt sleep over at my place and it went great, no crying, no complaints. I feared he'd wake up in the middle of the night asking for mommy or daddy but fortunately it never happened. It was very fun. We invited Alma to join us and had a spencial time together, had merienda, made up stamps and some drawings.

On Tuesday Spencer started his potty training. He's been on undies since then and has been going to the bathroom all by himself; pretty exciting.
We put up a paper on to the bathroom window, it is like a kind of board for stickers -- meant to encourage him to use the bathroom facilities ;) If he goes pee he gets to hit two little ones, if he goes poop he gets to hit a gigantic one. Big happy independent boy.

When we were coming back home we passed a spot where we had left an envelope and realized that it wasn't there anymore, we wondered who picked it up and when.

Tried out the chilean ice-cream which was actually really good. Spencer had light coconut, Rich had lemon pie and don't remember what else and I had maracujá! We left our last sign in that shop.

Went to Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes to check out the exhibits -- and left a message ;)
